My name is Basha (more about the origin of the name later) , My breed is pure Maltese. as you can see, I am as cute as a button (I never understood why a button is cute, but will leave this to a different story). I was born on the glorious day of July 26, 2017.
I am also known as Coconut and sometimes Shredded Coconut.
My name originate from the Oriental title ‘Pasha’ which was an honorable title given to high rank officials and dignitaries in old Turkey , and later in Egypt. I certainly act like a Pasha and I am treated as one.
My Breed …
My breed is ancient, it goes back at least a Millennia. It was favored by the Greeks, Romans and ancient Egypt.
The Maltese is a small white dog in the toy group, and is named after the island of Malta in the central Mediterranean Sea. His stature is tiny at under 7 pounds and just 8 to 10 inches in height. The coat is white, a single layer, and able to grow long to floor length. Eyes are dark and the points (nose, lips, paw pads, and eye rims) are black. This breed wasrecognized by the AKC in 1888, and is a popular canine family member. Small, friendly, and loving, the Maltese ranks in the top 30 most popular breeds.
Life Span …
Maltese breed , given it is a toy breed, considered to have a much better life span than bigger dogs. Average age between 12 to 15 years.
My Family …
I live with the Bardissi family, they seem to be ok, they love me, feed , and play with me.
